ChildNet Youth & Family Services is currently recruiting for the following positions. Unless otherwise noted, these positions are available in our various locations in Long Beach, CA.
ADMINISTRATION
Staff Accountant
Position Summary : will maintain accounting processes, including journal entries and general ledger while ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP).
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-3 years of experience in an Accounting position. Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of Excel, as well as strong analytical and interpersonal skills are also required.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
Assistant Director
Position Summary : will hire, train and supervise all supervisors in the Behavioral Health dept, and will provide Supervision hours for all MFT/LCSW interns and supervisors on a weekly basis. Other duties include participation with MIS system, budgeting and Utilization Review, coordination of services with various agencies and service audits to ensure effectiveness of program.
Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree in a mental health related field and a current MFCC, MFT, or LCSW license in the State of CA. Must possess a minimum of 5 years post license experience, a minimum of 2 years of DMH experience and at least 4 years in management/administration. One year of experience supervising managers is a plus.
Clinician
Position Summary : will provide comprehensive mental health services, including individual and family therapy to a caseload of 12 or more clients.
Qualifications: Must have a Master’s degree in a mental health related field, and be a registered intern with BBS. Must be able to work under pressure and/or crisis situations and must possess strong clinical and paperwork skills. The Clinician should also possess the ability to adapt to change and be responsible with confidential information. Bilingual and DMH experience is a plus. Supervision hours available for MFT/LCSW.
VISTA RIDGE ACADEMY
Substitute Teachers: Monrovia, CA
Position Summary : will provide educational services for learning disabled/behaviorally challenged children in grades 4-12.
Qualifications: Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, show evidence of passing the CBEST examination and be eligible for an Emergency Credential. One year of Special Education classroom experience (public or private) is preferred.
